Once A Month Rehearsal Dates For Christmas Production:

Saturday, September 17th, October 22th and November 19th, 10:00-4:00. 

Dates for HKCS Christmas Production:

Dress Rehearsal: Friday, December 9th, 4:00-8:00. 

Christmas Production: Saturday, December 10th at 7:00 and Sunday, December 11th at 4:30.

*There will be one more class for each level the week after the Christmas production to celebrate a job well done. Christmas break starts December 16th and goes til January 8th. Classes resume the week of January 9th.

Once A Month Rehearsal Dates For Spring Production:

Saturday, February 25, March 25th, April 29th, and May 20th, 10:00-4:00.

Dates for HKCS Spring Production:

Dress Rehearsal: Friday, June 9th, 4:00-8:00. 

Spring Production: Saturday, June 10th at 7:00 and Sunday, June 11th at 4:30.

*There will be one more class for each level the week after the Spring production to celebrate a job well done.

*HKCS still has classes on all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Memorial Day.

*HKCS students are required to attend monthly rehearsals unless there is a family emergency.

If upon receiving these dates, there is a prior conflict of schedules, please contact Judith concerning that date. This policy is due to the nature of HKCS productions as they are incredibly involved and detailed. Once a month rehearsals allow all HKCS students to put their show together.

*Girls Level 4&5 and Boys Level 2 will be expected to help with set and prop building. Students will also be expected to help with breakdown after monthly rehearsals for a half hour afterwards, as well as the breakdown after the Christmas and Spring productions. HKCS wants to help its students cultivate their skills not only as artists on stage, but off stage as well. This will give them opportunities to work on being servant leaders as well.

*Any young person who chooses to be a part of HKCS Dance/Theater classes will be asked to commit to not participating in other local shows from February-the June production, unless that local show’s practices and performances do not come into conflict with said student’s prior commitment to HKCS classes, joint practices, and shows. This is due to the fact that past participation in other local shows have made it difficult for HKCS students to be prepared for their own show.
